We here at The Educated Mouse have always been fascinated by Disney’s commitment to conservation. We have so much information about how Disney promotes conservation it would take up our entire blog site to write all about it. One thing we didn’t realize was the conservation efforts behind Animal Kingdom’s newest section of its park, Pandora – The World of Avatar.
We had the privilege as annual passholders to attend a sneak preview of Pandora when we visited WDW in mid-May of this year. We were so enthralled with the beautiful scenery, our new Banshee puppets (we bought 2), and riding Flight of Passage that we never knew that Disney’s Conservation Fund had developed a mobile adventure through the My Disney Experience app with proceeds going to help protect the habitats of at-risk animals.
It wasn’t until we returned and read a blog post about Disney’s newest conservation efforts at Pandora that we realized about this new venture. Please enjoy the following link found at Disney Parks Blog by clicking here. Also, enjoy all of our Pandora photos below….AND…..feel free to purchase our fun and informative Disney-inspired conservation unit found at our Teachers Pay Teachers store! We promise to post more on Disney’s conservation efforts in the near future. Enjoy!
